कपट्टी बगुला

                      Greedy heron

                   लालची बगुला।                     

 एक घने जंगल के बीच में एक बहुत बड़ा तालाब था।

उस तलाब में बहुत सारे जलीय जीव रहते थे जैसे मछली केकड़ा कछुआ इत्यादि

। सभी का जीवन बहुत आनंद   पूर्वक बीत रहा था। पर एक दिन ऐसा भी आया, जब अकाल होने लगा। काफी समय से वर्षा नहीं हो रही थी। जिसके कारण तालाब का पानी  सूखता ही जा रहा था। अब तो ऐसा लग रहा था जैसे पूरी तलाब पूरी तरह सूख जाएगा।

In the middle of a dense forest there was a very large pond.

 There lived many aquatic creatures like fish crab turtle, etc. All of them lived happily. But one day there was a famine. It had not been raining for long. That caused the water in the pond to dry up. Now it seemed as if the entire tank would dry up completely.

 तथा उसी तालाब पर एक  बबूला प्रतिदिन

अपने आहार के लिए मछली का शिकार करने आता  था

। पर उनसे कभी कभी शिकार ही नहीं हो पाता था।   उसने एक तरकीब सोची। जल में रह रहे सभी  मछलियों से उसने कहा कि दोस्तों ,वह दिन दूर नहीं जब हमारा तालाब पूरी तरह सूख जाएगा इससे पहले कि  आप लोग प्यासे मर जाएं हम  दूर दूसरे तलाब पर आप लोगों को ले जाएंगे और इसमें हम  आप लोगों का मदद करेंगे। हम  चोंच में दबाकर तथा उड़कर आप लोगों को दूसरे तलाब में ले जाएंगे । यह प्रस्ताव वहां रह रहे मछलियों को अच्छा लगा और उन्होंने हां कह दिया।

And in the same pond a babool used to come every day to hunt fish for his food

. But they never had to attack him, and he planned a plan. He told all the fish in the water that the day was not far off when our tank would be completely dry before you die thirsty, we would take you to the next pond and help you in it. We will crush and fly into the beak and take you to the next pond. They liked the offer and said yes.

          पर  बगुला का इरादा बहुत बुरा था। वह  मछलियां  को तो ले जाता था पर रास्ते पर ही ऊपर  से मछलियों को चट्टान पर गिरा देता था जिससे उनकी मौत हो जाती और वह अपनी आहार बना लेता था। यह प्रक्रिया लगातार होते  रहा। अब तो तालाब में मछलियां बहुत कम बच गई थी। और उन्हें भी ले जाना था।

पर एक दिन मछली के बजाय केकड़ा ने बगुला से रिक्वेस्ट किया। और उसे भी दूसरे तलाब में ले जाने के लिए कहा। यह सुनकर  बगुला के मन में लड्डू फूटने लगा क्योंकि बहुत दिन हुए थे मछली खाते खाते। अब कुछ चटपटा खाने को मिल रहा है।

            तब बगुला ने कहा क्यों नहीं भाई आज हम तुम्हें ही ले जाएंगे पर तुम तो हमारे   चोंच में आओगे नहीं इसलिए गला पकड़ कर स्थिर से रहना। जब हम दूसरे तालाब के ऊपर पहुंच जाएंगे तब हम तुम्हें बता देंगे।

But the heron had a very bad intention. He used to take fish, but on the way he dropped them on a rock, killing them and making his own food. This was a continuous process. There were very few left - over fish in the pond. And they also had to be taken.

 But one day, instead of a fish, the crab requested the heron. And we asked him to take him to another pond. Hearing this the heron began to burst in his mind as he had been eating fish for a long time. I am getting a spicy meal.

 Then the heron said, 'why don' t we take you today, but since you don 't get into our beak, hold your throat and stay still. We will let you know when we reach the top of the other pond.

यह सुनकर केकड़ा बगुला के गला में गले लगा लिया और बगुला उड़ने लगा। बगुला कुछ दूर जाने के बाद अपने  बेमानी स्वभाव से  केकड़ा को भी नीचे गिराने का कोशिश किया।  जैसे ही केकड़ा को गिरने जैसा आभास हुआ वह और जोर से उसका  गला  पकड़ा। लेकिन   बगुला बार-बार जब उसे गिराने का प्रयास कर रहा था।

तब केकड़ा को भी बात समझने में देर ना   लगी। तब केकड़ा ने उसका गला को इतना जोर से दबाया कि बगुला भी धरती पर आ गिरा और उसका( बगुला) गला खून से लथपथ हो गया था

। और कुछ ही देर के बाद बगुला भी मर ही गया  । 

Hearing this, the crab embraced the throat of the heron and the heron flew. The heron tried to drive the crab down, using his unscrupulous temperament, after he had gone some way, and he caught his throat as he felt it falling. But the heron tried to pull it down again and again.

 The crab did not take long to decipher the matter. Then the crab pressed his throat so hard that the heron fell to the ground and his throat was soaked in blood. Soon after, the heron died.

और केकड़ा देखता है कि चट्टान पर उनके दोस्तों का  हड्डियां ही  हड्डियां पड़ा हुआ है।

और उसे अपने दोस्तों को खोने का बहुत गम होता है ।पर इस बात का भी खुशी होता है कि उसने बगुला का भी काम तमाम कर दिया जो कि इतने सारे मछलियों को धोखाधड़ी से अपना शिकार  बना लिया था।

 शिक्षा-  जैसा करनी वैसा भरनी

हम जिस तरह के बीज लगाएंगे हमें उसी तरह का फल मिलेगा। अर्थात यदि हम अच्छी बीज  बोते हैं तो  हम अच्छे  फसल ही काटेंगे।

And the crab observes that the bones of his friends lie on the rock. He was too proud to lose his friends, but he was happy that he had done all the work of a heron, which had made so many fish his victims by fraud.

 Education as you sow

 We will get the same kind of seeds as we plant. That is, if we sow good seeds, we will harvest good crops.
